What were the primary questions that you asked yourself prior to finding, and engaging in, your life's work?

As friends of mine had children, I began to notice how overwhelmed some became.  Whether they were starting their family or adding to their family, each person faced different challenges.  Some mothers were stay at home parents, others were working full time, but they would reach out to me for advice and guidance on which baby prodcuts to buy, or how to find an excellent pediatrician, how to set up a practical nursery or help with breastfeeding.

Having been through "mommyhood" with three children of my own, I felt confident in giving advice, suggestions and help.  Every person I touched expressed their gratitude and I realized how helpful it was for them to have a person to offer non-biased guidance during this time in their lives.

My sister had her first baby and said that I "saved her" during the first few weeks post partum. I decided then that this IS my passion.  I have the drive to help new parents find their path, to work through the challenges of being a new parent, to sort through the enormous amount of baby products and to help find the products that are the most useful and helpful.  I also want to make sure that new parents, mothers especially, know that they are going to live through the first few weeks, and flourish in their new role.  I want to help mothers feel confident in the fact that they can raise this new little person and help moms focus on the joy of motherhood rather than fret about all of the "pieces" that come together.

Baby Planning allows me to help new parents prepare for their baby, I take the guesswork and stress out of the preparation so they can enjoy the journey, every step of the way.
